Who we are

Just as the disciples on the road to Emmaus discovered the risen Lord in the breaking of bread, we are here to guide you into His presence through faith, service, and the power of the Gospel.

At Ascension Ministries, we are a global ministry inspired by the journey of the two disciples in Luke 24:13-35, who met the risen Christ on the road to Emmaus. Our mission is to lead people into a life-changing relationship with Jesus Christ, proclaiming His life, death, resurrection, and return as the hope of the world.

We partner with churches and organizations worldwide to share the Gospel, serve those in need, and equip leaders for Spirit-led ministry. Through charitable outreach, training programs, and a commitment to biblical truth, we seek to foster unity, ignite revival, and bring transformation to individuals and communities—all for the glory of God.

At Ascension Ministries, our faith is anchored in the timeless truth of God’s Word and the transformative power of Jesus Christ. These core beliefs guide everything we do as we journey together toward His Kingdom.

At Ascension Ministries, we are called to walk alongside others, sharing the transformative love of Jesus Christ through a range of ministries that touch lives around the world. Explore how we serve, equip, and inspire—guided by the Holy Spirit and rooted in the Gospel.

  • The Authority of Scripture: We believe the Bible is divinely inspired by God, revealing His design and purpose for humanity (II Timothy 3:16; II Peter 1:20-21).
  • One True God: We affirm there is one living God, eternally existing in three persons—Father, Son, and Holy Spirit—united in love and purpose (I John 5:7; Genesis 1:26; Hebrews 3:7-11).
  • The Deity and Work of Jesus Christ: We proclaim Jesus Christ as the Son of God, fully divine and fully human. Born of a virgin, He lived a sinless life, performed miracles, died on the cross to redeem us, rose on the third day, ascended to the Father, and will return in glory (John 1:1, 14; Isaiah 9:6; Philippians 2:5-6; I Timothy 2:5).
  • Humanity’s Fall and Salvation: We believe humanity was created good but fell through sin. Our only hope of restoration is through faith in Jesus Christ and His atoning sacrifice (Genesis 1:26-31, 3:1-7; Romans 5:12-21).
  • Life in Christ: We hold that Christians are those who have received Jesus as Lord and Savior, inviting His Holy Spirit to dwell within them and trusting in His death and resurrection for eternal life (John 1:12; John 14:23; Romans 8:11).
  • Baptism in the Holy Spirit: We believe the Baptism in the Holy Spirit is a distinct experience after salvation, empowering believers for service and witness, often marked by speaking in tongues as seen in Scripture (Acts 1:5, 2:1-4; Joel 2:28-29).
  • Spiritual Gifts: We affirm that the Holy Spirit distributes gifts to believers for the building of God’s Kingdom. These gifts, including tongues and others, operate in harmony with Scripture and are to be sought earnestly by all Christians (I Corinthians 12:1-31, 14:1-40; Ephesians 4:16).
